Today, the first Dark Iron RISC-V Ecological Conference held by Alibaba Pingtouge was held in Shanghai. The conference, with the theme of "openness and connectivity", brought together representatives of hundreds of enterprises and institutions around the world, making it the largest conference in the history of RISC-V development in China.

As a representative of a Chinese operating system enterprise, UniTrust Software was invited to attend the conference to demonstrate in detail the new perspectives, achievements, and paths of UniTrust UOS and deep participation in the RISC-V ecological construction. It received warm reactions and unanimous praise from the participants, and had a full exchange of views during the conference.

**New perspective: The key to breaking the RISC-V ecosystem lies in advanced digital technology**

After about 5 years of construction, China's RISC-V ecosystem has begun to take shape. Ni Guangnan, an academician of the CAE Member, also said at the meeting that today RISC-V is the most popular architecture in China's CPU field and a new engine to promote the development of the new generation of information technology.

From the perspective of operating system manufacturers, the further vigorous growth of RISC-V products and ecology cannot be separated from the continuous leadership of advanced digital technology.

Currently, processor IP cores and core infrastructure software are two major challenges in the ecosystem that need to be addressed, respectively related to the improvement of the new chip architecture at the compiler tool chain and operating system level. Therefore, Unitrust software proposes to explore value points in the following three directions:

1. Focus on applications, especially in IoT, special-purpose chips, data centers, and edge computing markets;

2. Take a global ecological perspective, adhere to open thinking, and seek a differentiated development path;

Emphasizing talent cultivation and introduction, the tool chain of streamlined instruction sets and the ecological construction of operating system software still require high-level talents.

**New Achievements: UniTrust UOS/deepin Activates RISC-V Ecological New Kinetic Energy**

Zhou Chenjie, Deputy General Manager of Unitrust Software Ecological Center, said in a speech at the conference that Unitrust software has been connected to the RISC-V ecosystem of Xuantie based on the deep community. Unitrust UOS/deepin has completed a series of migration of self developed applications and achieved outstanding results. UniTrust Software will continue to take a global view of the Risc-V ecosystem, adhere to open thinking and establish broader cooperative relationships with Dark Iron.

On the one hand, under the RISC-V architecture of Xuantie, the Unified Messaging UOS/daemon has been compatible and adapted to over 6500 application software, focusing on breaking through multiple complex applications, greatly meeting users' daily use needs.

On the other hand, based on the desktop environment of the Deep V23 DragonVision 1520 platform, dozens of deep in self research and community application migrations have been completed, including document office, video entertainment, programming development, and other categories. The integration of RISC-V chips and the UniTrust UOS/Deepin ecosystem is accelerating.

**New path: from the chip to the operating system**

In recent years, with the joint efforts of both parties, RISC-V has shown a geometric growth trend in terms of technological breakthroughs, diversified ecology, and talent co construction:
